Psychosocial  Support

We piloted a Safe Play Initiative for Children and Youth (SPICY) in Kyengera town council, Katale Busawula among urban refugees in partnership with Friends of Katale, a local CBO in Katale Busawula village.

We  worked with traumatized, stressed and bored youth and children who were closed out of school for close to two years and their social interactions at home were restricted because of COVID 19 and its related effects. We meet these youths and children at their self-created sports grounds where we offered them  with Reproductive Health Education, psychosocial support and career guidance.
